Aqua-Tech Recruitment are working with a leading engineering company who have offices in Cumbernauld and Edinburgh, who have an immediate requirement for a Document Controller. The Company is forward thinking and looking to implement a 4-day working week. Extremely flexible working arrangements (office/home based).
We are looking for an experienced and technically minded person to perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties.
The ideal candidate will have excellent computer proficiency, and a strong working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
Responsibilities:
- The Document Controller will create document templates
- The Document Controller will convert information from project teams into user friendly documents
- The Document Controller will number and label documents for identification and reference
- The Document Controller will track documents to maintain confidentiality
- The Document Controller will review and revise documents for accuracy
- The Document Controller will update and maintain office policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Document Controller, Administrative Assistant or Office Admin Assistant
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and scanners
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Knowledge of the water industry would be advantageous
