Aqua-Tech Recruitment are working with a leading engineering company who have an urgent requirement for an Electrical Project Engineer who will mainly be based in the Midlands Region but with some UK travel. The role will be Site/Home/Office based.
This role is suited to a Delivery Manager who will handle up to 20 live jobs & up to 10 potential jobs or a Project Engineer looking to gain experience of a Project Manager role.
High voltage and/or environmental and/or water experience would be highly advantageous.
Job Function:
To be responsible for the co‐ordination and delivery of projects mostly under our Environment Agency M&E Frameworks, ranging in values and complexity. All projects to be undertaken to an agreed cost, scope and programme.
The successful candidate will be working mainly direct to the client on MEICA & Minor Works framework projects, with values of between £2,000 and £200,000.
The candidate should also have a minimum 10 years’ electrical controls experience of which may be a mix of minimum 5 years’ site experience working on the diagnosis and repair of control panels, repair/replace/refurbishment of water related assets and 5 years’ minimum supervisory management of field engineering teams.

Manage Installation & Commissioning activities
Produce accurate Operation and Maintenance Manuals
Managing the client interface
Commercial Delivery, Monitor project costs and highlight cost variances
Monitor Heath, Safety, Quality & Environment
Qualifications:
HNC/D or equivalent
18th Edition of BS7671
2391 preferred but not essential
CSCS Gold card “Technician”
CSCS Black “Project Manager” card holder preferred but not essential
SMSTS Accredited
IOSH Accredited
Confined space certified preferred but not essential
Working knowledge of AutoCAD would be advantageous
